As part of its week-long program of activities, the International Oil Spill Conference (IOSC) is hosting both a Film Festival and a Photography Contest. Interested agencies, organizations, companies, and individuals are invited to submit films or photographs that relate to the entry categories/topics and the IOSC charter. No professional experience is required to submit either films or images to the IOSC Film Festival or Photography Contest. A brief description of each event can be found on the IOSC website which explains the rules and the mechanism for the electronic submission of your film or photograph.

All individuals submitting a film or photograph must comply with the guidelines and agree to the Official Rules for Entry found on the submission site. Films and photographs should not represent a commercial advertisement and all submissions to either the festival or contest are subject to review and approval by the chair of the Film Festival and Photography Contest. Inappropriate or commercial submissions, as determined by the chair of the Film Festival and Photography will not be considered for either event.
